Producer Information
Endre Tornai, the founder, began viticulture and winemaking in 1946 on an estate of nearly two 'hold'. Today, the winery's vineyards cover more than 60 hectares, and the third generation is already involved in the daily work.
Their farming is based on respecting traditions while applying the most modern viticultural and processing technologies. As a leading winery in Somló, Tornai Pincészet, building on decades of experience, is an initiator and supporter of regional producer cooperation. With this, they aim to further increase the recognition of Somló wines both domestically and internationally.
