Thanks to the gentle production process, Grapoila cold-pressed oils fully preserve the valuable components of the raw materials. Rosehip seed oil, produced in Hungary from Hungarian rosehip seeds, has skin-softening and wrinkle-smoothing effects, helping to retain moisture and fight free radicals. Bakuchiol, also known as "plant-based retinol", and acmella flower extract further enhance skin elasticity and firmness. Its scent is made even more pleasant by pomelo and blue tansy oil.

This product belongs to the upcycled food category, indicating a form of value addition, meaning creating something with added value from a material that would otherwise be treated as waste—more value than the raw material itself. In this product, the nourishing ingredient was given a second chance to show again that every bite has value. By choosing upcycled products, we fight against food waste generated during production, manufacturing, and transport.

Environmental protection was important to them right from the very beginning when the company was founded. Together with the idea of manufacturing a high-quality, full-value food item from natural ingredients, it was their explicit intention to create value from what others deemed to be discarded. Grape pomace is a waste product of wineries; previously used at most for animal feed, yet over 10 years ago they saw in it the grape seeds holding treasure-worthy, quality oil with excellent physiological effects. The Zero Waste ‒ that is, waste-free ‒ production of Grapoila cold-pressed oils began with this first raw material. During Zero Waste production, every part of the incoming raw materials is processed, and nothing is thrown away. In the case of grape pomace, the grape skin rich in bioactive substances is separated from the seed and ground after drying. The flour packaged this way can be used to flavor cakes and creams. The seeds are also dried and then cold-pressed without heat treatment or additives on their custom-developed press machines. The resulting cold-pressed oils are healthy foods or cosmetic oils with extraordinary nutritional value, bottled in dark glass bottles. The sediment formed before filtering the freshly pressed oil is oil sludge, which, like the oil, is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins, while also containing micro-particles from the seeds. This is sold ‒ according to its nature ‒ as a gourmet cream or cosmetic mud.

From the "dry residue" of oil pressing, the pellet—which is low in fat and carbohydrates, but very rich in plant protein, vitamins, and other nutrients, and gluten-free—they grind seed flours, which are excellent baking additives. The pellet is also very popular among animal feed manufacturers, so it is sold to them for further use. Since they use exclusively natural raw materials, the few by-products that cannot be utilized otherwise are dried for animal feed, potting soil additive, compost, or fuel. The latter, along with any green waste, goes into a biomass boiler that heats the drying system, thus closing the loop. Environmental considerations are also taken into account in the operation of the plant. Compressed air is primarily used for cleaning. For wiping, cleaning cloths are rented from a company that extracts the oil from the used cloths to heat their laundry facility, and then returns the clean cloths to them. Component cleaning is carried out using an eco-washing system containing cleaning microorganisms that biologically break down fats and oils.

Through "Zero Waste" manufacturing, they reduce their ecological footprint, are more environmentally conscious, and at the same time reduce costs.
