About the brand

The brand's founder, Gyula Sebő, aimed to create equipment that would allow owners and dogs to spend more time together. This is where the founding of the Julius-K9 brand and the production of dog harnesses began. He founded his company in 1997, and by 2003, the K9 harnesses achieved huge success at the Dortmund exhibition. Sebő believes that the harnesses he designed will become lifelong products for dogs.

Where does the brand name come from?

• Julius: German equivalent of Gyula Sebő's first name
• K9: Julius Sebő received his first dog in Budapest at Kele u. 9., and the company's first premises also operated at number 9 in Vienna (Langobarden Str. 9.)
