Tokaj Wine Region

Tokaj-Hegyalja is considered one of the best wine regions in the world due to its unique volcanic bedrock, exceptionally diverse soil, and fortunate climate conditions. The vineyards of Angyal Borászat és Szőlőbirtok are located in these excellent areas. Most of the vineyards are situated in the southern and southeastern parts of the town of Szerencs and the village of Ond, on Árpád Hill, Hegyfark, and Fekete Hill. The diverse soil rich in volcanic minerals is reflected in the wines of the winery.

Our cellar is located a few kilometers away from these areas, in Rátka. Here, the gentle processing of the grapes and the aging of the bottles take place. The cellar, which is unique in the region and has a total length of 450 meters, is perfect for aging aszú, szamorodni, and furmint. The winery's building, surrounded by vineyards, is complemented by comfortable, modern accommodations that meet all needs, allowing lovers of Tokaj wines to enjoy excellent wines and the picturesque view of the Tokaj cultural landscape on-site.
