- 2 kg fruit (can be frozen)
- 15 g gelling agent
Sweetening can be used depending on the sweetness of the fruit, but it can also be omitted. It can also be sweetened with thoroughly washed and dried ground dried fruit (e.g., dates, prunes, raisins, etc.).
Sort through the fruit, wash it thoroughly, chop it, then pour it into a cooking pot. Cook the fruit with the measured pectin until most of the water has evaporated, then blend the fruit to the desired consistency with an immersion blender.
Fill thoroughly washed and sterilized small jars with the hot jam, up to the brim. Then put on a new lid and turn them upside down. Leave them in a warm place for 1 day (steam sterilization/preserving), then store in a cool, dry place! After opening, consume within 3-4 days.
