Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
Wash the mushrooms, pat them dry with a paper towel, and cut them into desired sizes, then sauté them with the chopped onion in olive oil.
Once the mushrooms are nicely golden brown, season with salt, add the pasta cooking water, the cooked pasta, cream, grated cheese, chopped parsley, then mix everything together, bring it to a quick boil, and it's ready.
