The heavenly wine pairing for Halászlé is Szekszárd Kadarka, or Kadarka Siller, so we cannot recommend anything else, as this combination is almost part of the Hungarian national spirit. According to locals, at least two glasses of Kadarka should be drunk with every Halászlé, so that the poor fish doesn't think the dog ate it…
