INGREDIENTS FOR THE BALLS
- 25 dkg ground biscuits (preferably sugar-free)
- 12 dkg butter/margarine/plant-based butter alternative
- 1 dl almond milk (or any milk to taste)
- 2 dkg unsweetened Dutch cocoa powder
- 6 g gingerbread spice mix
INGREDIENTS FOR DECORATION
- 3 dkg ground biscuits (preferably sugar-free)
- 1 tsp gingerbread spice mix
PREPARATION
- 1Place the ground biscuits in a large bowl.
- 2Add the cocoa powder and gingerbread spice mix, then stir.
- 3Melt the butter or margarine and add it to the mixture.
- 4Pour in the milk and rum, then knead thoroughly.
- 5If the mixture is too dry, it can be loosened with a little milk; if it's too soft, it can be improved with a little ground biscuit.
- 6Form walnut-sized balls from the mixture.
- 7Roll the balls in the ground biscuits mixed with 1 teaspoon of spice mix.
- 8It is advisable to chill them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
