INGREDIENTS

  • 12 pcs cocoa Abonett, broken into medium-coarse pieces
  • 2 tbsp organic cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2–3 tbsp maple syrup
  • a little almond milk (only if needed for consistency)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • For topping: melted dark chocolate
  • Chopped peanuts for coating

PREPARATION

    Break the cocoa Abonett crackers into medium-coarse pieces by hand or in a bag (do not make them completely powdery).

    Add the cocoa powder, peanut butter, and maple syrup.

    Pour in one teaspoon of vanilla extract.

    Add a pinch of salt; this enhances the sweet flavors.

    Mix it, then if the mixture is too dry, add a very small amount of almond milk, just enough to make it easily formable.

    Form small balls with wet hands.

    Dip the balls into melted dark chocolate, and sprinkle their tops with crushed peanuts.

    Place them in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to set completely.
