INGREDIENTS
- 12 pcs cocoa Abonett, broken into medium-coarse pieces
- 2 tbsp organic cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 2–3 tbsp maple syrup
- a little almond milk (only if needed for consistency)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- For topping: melted dark chocolate
- Chopped peanuts for coating
PREPARATION
- 1Break the cocoa Abonett crackers into medium-coarse pieces by hand or in a bag (do not make them completely powdery).
- 2Add the cocoa powder, peanut butter, and maple syrup.
- 3Pour in one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- 4Add a pinch of salt; this enhances the sweet flavors.
- 5Mix it, then if the mixture is too dry, add a very small amount of almond milk, just enough to make it easily formable.
- 6Form small balls with wet hands.
- 7Dip the balls into melted dark chocolate, and sprinkle their tops with crushed peanuts.
- 8Place them in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to set completely.
