Preparation method
I let the puff pastry thaw on the counter for about 5 minutes before unrolling it from the paper. This prevents the inner part of the dough from breaking when unfolded.
I mentally fold it in half along its longer side and spread tomato sauce on one half, then add the filling. I fold the top part over the bottom, filled part and gently press it down, being careful not to let the tomato sauce spill out.
I cut triangles or squares with a pizza cutter according to taste and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
