INGREDIENTS

  • 6 pcs untreated or thoroughly washed lemons + juice of 3 lemons
  • 6 pcs star anise
  • 50 dkg coarse sea salt
  • 4 bay leaves
  • One tablespoon coriander seeds
  • A few black peppercorns

PREPARATION

    Wash the lemons thoroughly and cut them as shown in the picture.

    Stuff their insides with coarse salt, then place them tightly into the jar.

    Sprinkle the spices over them and pour in the lemon juice.

    Seal and place on a pantry shelf for at least 3 weeks.

    When using, only the yellow peel will be needed, cut into very small cubes.
