INGREDIENTS
- 6 pcs untreated or thoroughly washed lemons + juice of 3 lemons
- 6 pcs star anise
- 50 dkg coarse sea salt
- 4 bay leaves
- One tablespoon coriander seeds
- A few black peppercorns
PREPARATION
- 1Wash the lemons thoroughly and cut them as shown in the picture.
- 2Stuff their insides with coarse salt, then place them tightly into the jar.
- 3Sprinkle the spices over them and pour in the lemon juice.
- 4Seal and place on a pantry shelf for at least 3 weeks.
- 5When using, only the yellow peel will be needed, cut into very small cubes.
