- 1 spring onion, finely chopped
- 75 g mushrooms (white or brown button mushrooms), peeled and very finely chopped
- 200 g minced beef or pork
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 tsp thyme or rosemary, finely chopped
- 25 g breadcrumbs
- 15 g grated cheese
- 1 whole egg

Thoroughly mix the ingredients, then form 22-25 smaller balls from the mixture. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 185 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes until done. It's worth turning the balls halfway through to ensure an even golden-brown color.
