  • 500 g pork loin
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 200 g all-purpose flour + 3 tablespoons for coating
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 ml light beer
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground mixed peppercorns
  • Oil for frying
 

PREPARATION

    Cut the meat into two-finger-wide strips, salt, pepper, and add the marjoram, grated garlic, and paprika. Mix thoroughly and set aside while you prepare the batter.

    Add the egg and half of the beer to the flour, salt it, and whisk until smooth with a hand whisk, then thin with the remaining beer.

    Coat the seasoned meat first in flour, then in the batter. Fry both sides in hot oil until golden brown.

    Serve to taste with mashed potatoes, fresh salad, or pickles.
