Sonnentor Organic Turmeric Latte Ginger

Sonnentor turmeric latte ginger organic spice blend. Vegan, vegetarian, prepared without added salt. This "sunny" yellow hot drink sweetens the morning and awakens your senses. The latte is perfect as a morning drink, but also provides a great experience in the afternoon. It looks especially good if you make milk foam on top. The spicy ginger causes a real explosion of flavors, which results in a pleasant warmth flowing through the body. This blend is an Ayurveda classic.

Looking for your new favorite drink? Turmeric latte or "golden milk", yellow, calming, and made with warm (plant-based) milk. The yellow-orange powder is fine, dry, and has a pleasantly spicy scent. It cheers up the mind. Just mix it into milk and enjoy this delicious warming drink!

Preparation suggestion

• Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric latte blend (approx. 2 g) into 250 ml of (plant-based) milk, heat it up, and sweeten to taste.
• Preparation according to Ayurveda (Golden milk): Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric paste* in 250 ml of (plant-based) milk and heat it, cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat. Flavor with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil.

• * Turmeric paste: Mix 1 heaped tablespoon (approx. 8 g) of turmeric latte blend with 30 ml of water, stir, and boil until it becomes a paste.

Producer information

The story of Sonnentor began with Johannes Gutmann, who loved the Waldviertel region where he was born. In the 80s, it was common for people to move from the countryside to live in the city – but not Johannes, who wanted to live and work in Waldviertel. 

Johannes was already a passionate organic pioneer when the meaning of organic farming was perhaps not yet known to many. In the 80s, customers did not pay much attention to food – where it came from, what was in it, and how it was grown. Johannes sensed that organic farming was the best way for health, the environment, and the future. This is where the inspiring idea came from: to distribute regional organic products with the traditional 24-spoke sun symbol of Waldfiertel. The rest is history. Today, more than 200 farmers work in the Sonnentor family, and in the meantime, Sonnentor has become one of the most successful Austrian companies.

Sonnentor considers Waldviertel its home, but its wider homeland is the whole world. Waldviertel is limited in what it can produce, so partners and friends from all over the world help. They know each other and value mutual trust and fair trade. They believe that economic success should be shared. Live and let live, mutual respect and recognition, fruitful cooperation: this is their philosophy.
