Exciting and lively red wine from Eger. Its aroma reveals many ripe fruits, such as blackberry, blackcurrant, dried sour cherry and cherry, as well as a hint of smokiness, fallen leaves and tobacco. It is round, silky to the touch and has a long finish in the mouth. A beautiful, fruity, juicy Egri bikavér.

Producer information
Based on traditions and the quality expectations of the age, they would like to produce wines that express the uniqueness of their terroirs. They pay special attention to the traditional varieties of their wine region, such as Olaszrizling, Hárslevelű, Furmint, Kadarka and Kékfrankos. Their goal is to get to know their terroirs and to perfect their viticulture year by year, as well as to refine and adapt the steps of wine production to the different varieties. And so they try to understand the essence of their earthly mission.
They have basically set themselves the goal of producing two Eger wines of protected origin, which they produce in several categories - classicus, superior, grand superior. In white wines they concentrate on Egri csillag, and in red wines on Egri bikavér. They produce their white wines partly by traditional barrel fermentation and ageing, and partly by fermentation in tanks. The barrel ageing lasts 6-10 months.
The red wines are fermented on the skins primarily in open vats with manual punching down and circulation, but they also use acacia barrels and steel tanks, where maceration takes place with circulation. The red wines are aged in barrels for 12-30 months.
Storage
Store at 10-15 degrees, in a dark, sealed place, consume within 1-2 days after opening.
