The product's effectiveness is based on the ingredients silicone oil and dimethicone. Application: Before use, check all family members for head lice. All persons who have shown evidence of lice within one day must be treated to prevent re-infestation. Cover the shoulders of the person to be treated with a towel to prevent the solution from getting on the skin/clothes. Unscrew the applicator cap. Apply the solution evenly to the hair from the forehead to the crown, from the crown to the ears and to the nape of the neck. The amount of solution required depends on the type and length of hair. For shoulder-length hair, expect to use 30–50 ml of the product. Use enough lotion on the hair and scalp. Massage it in from the hair roots to the ends. Leave on for 15 minutes. For larger lice, wait up to two minutes longer. Wash hair with your usual shampoo and rinse thoroughly with warm water. For longer hair, it is recommended to use hair conditioner. Comb your hair with a regular comb and separate it into 1 cm wide strands. Comb through the individual strands again and again with a metal comb to remove dead lice and nits. Start combing as close to the hair roots as possible. Separate the strands that have already been combed free of nits from the untreated hair. Wash the comb with warm water and soap after each use. Repeat the application after 9–10 days to remove newly hatched lice. Other information: • To avoid re-infestation, it is essential that the whole family is treated at the same time. • Wash all clothes, bedding and used towels at 60°C.
