False Palm in 12 cm Pot

The false palm is a very popular palm species from the palm family. It is a native plant of Mexico and Guatemala. The plant originally reaches 2 meters, but in our country it grows to a maximum height of 1 meter. It is a dioecious plant, with female and male individuals. Small, fragrant yellow flowers can sometimes be found on the female individuals.

Water requirements

Its water requirement is moderate, the soil should always be moist. Do not let the soil dry out, but do not let water stand under it either. It likes humid air, it is worth humidifying it often with a hand sprayer.

The purchased plant must always be repotted in order to keep it in the apartment in the long term. We recommend repotting them in a larger pot or box so that they feel good in the heated apartment and do not wither. It is important not to forget to spray (with water)!

Storage

Store in a bright place between 18-20 °C.
