Producer information

Kalumba Madagascar Spiced Gin emerged from the well-known Zwack factory's Kecskemét distillery in mid-2018. It combines citrus freshness with complex spices, flavors that mature for long months in oak barrels on a bed of dried figs.

With its new, fresh flavor, it became an instant hit thanks to its sweet taste and unusual appearance. Kalumba gets its name from the kalumba root, which grows in the humid regions of East and South Africa. It is used as both an ornamental and a medicinal plant.

Its unique flavor comes not only from the kalumba root, but also from the 17 spices, some of which are hand-picked and selected from the wild jungles of Madagascar and Africa.
