Calgon gel softens water and prevents potentially damaging limescale deposits from building up inside your washing machine, thus extending the life of your washing machine and preventing unpleasant odours from developing. Given that using Calgon water softener products is a preventative measure, not a limescale removal solution, add it to every wash to keep your washing machine clean and prevent limescale build-up. Calgon prevents minerals from being deposited on the internal parts of your washing machine, thus protecting the heating element. With Calgon you can keep your washing machine clean, so you can achieve optimal washing results every time.

Use

Limescale removal: In case of medium-hard water, it is recommended to use 1 capful, and in case of very hard water, 1 and 2/3 capfuls of the product together with the usual detergent. Calgon Hygiene Gel can be used by pouring it into the detergent dispenser of the washing machine, and it is recommended to select the lowest temperature setting.

Disinfection: In an empty wash, the required amount of disinfectant must be added to the detergent dispenser of the washing machine. Application parameters required for disinfection: adding 50 ml (1 capful) of disinfectant to 15 l of water (for one wash), at a temperature of min. 55°C/60°C, with a contact time of min. 60 minutes. Adding 250 ml (5 capfuls) of disinfectant to 15 l of water (for one wash), or adding 100 ml (2 capfuls) of disinfectant to 6 l of water at a temperature of min. 40°C, with a contact time of min. 30 minutes.
