Meatless Pepperoni

Product description

Vegan, 100% plant-based, meatless, wheat protein-based pepperoni-flavored vegan sliced salami. Thanks to the natural pepper (sweet, smoked, hot) mixture and other spices, it has a harmonious taste, just like the original "meat" version. Preservative-free.

Recipe recommendation - Party roll with meatless pepperoni

Ingredients:
1 pack of meatless pepperoni
1 pack of tortilla slices
a portion of homemade hummus (ingredients below)
3 handfuls of arugula
1/2 red bell pepper and
1/2 yellow bell pepper

For the hummus:
2 cups of chickpeas (pre-cooked or canned)
1/2 cup of dried tomatoes (optional)
2 tablespoons of tahini (sesame paste)
1 lemon juice
2 cloves of garlic
1/5 cup of aquafaba (water from a can of chickpeas or the water after cooking the chickpeas)
1/5 cup of olive oil
salt, pepper

Preparation
1. If you make the hummus yourself, the first step is to mix the ingredients. The mixture should be smooth. If it is too thick, add a little water and olive oil until the desired consistency is reached.
2. Spread the tortilla slices with hummus, sprinkle with arugula, put pepper and pepperoni slices on top. Roll up tightly and cut into slices about 2 cm thick. You can sprinkle them with sesame seeds.

Suggested use

Can be eaten raw, but can also be baked, grilled or fried or even cooked. Like all our products, this one can also be frozen. Perfect for pizzas or casseroles, but you can simply put it in a really tasty sandwich.

Storage

Store between +2 C and +10 C. Consume within 1-2 days after opening.
