The bromeliad is undoubtedly one of the most popular houseplants in the world, originating from the tropical rainforests of South America. It is an evergreen perennial whose characteristic appearance is given by the colorful basal leaf rosette developed during flowering, which is most often red or orange, but can also be yellow or pink.
The purchased plant must always be repotted to ensure its long-term survival in the home. We recommend repotting them into a larger pot or container so that they feel comfortable in a heated apartment and do not wilt. It is important not to forget to mist them (with water)!
Usage
Keep it in a semi-shady spot where it gets enough light but is not exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. It needs less water in cooler months. Make sure there is always water in the pool formed by the leaves in the center of the plant, and change it from time to time.
