It all started with the establishment of Julius Trockels' artisan bakery in 1884. He became known in the city for his famous wafers. Later, Julius Trockels handed over the bakery to his son, Wilhelm. He expanded the product range with confectionery products. His special delicacy was plum cake. The baton was passed within the family; due to the continuous expansion of the product range, the company had to be reorganized. Günter Trockels put everything on one card and built a modern industrial building equipped with the latest technology in the industrial park, on Coesterweg. Trockels continues to remain at the forefront when it comes to the distribution of its products.
