About the brand
The Cockta carbonated soft drink brand was created in the 1950s in Yugoslavia, where it quickly became popular. It was also sold abroad, for example, the soft drink also reached the Netherlands. The more than 60-year-old drink is still popular in the successor states of Yugoslavia and is considered one of the best-known Yugoslav brands.
The name Cockta comes from the word cocktail. The image of the "cocktail" made from a mixture of 11 herbs has undergone several changes over the decades until it acquired its present form.
