Elevit Complex 1 multivitamin film-coated tablet provides important micronutrients before conception and until the end of the 12th week of pregnancy. Due to its folic acid and Metafolin (more easily utilized than folic acid) content, it contributes to reducing the risk of certain developmental disorders. * *Additional folic acid intake increases the maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the foetus. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 400µg of additional folic acid for at least one month before and three months after conception.
