Nasivin preservative-free products are for nasal use only. Nasivin preservative-free products contain the active ingredient oxymetazoline. This active ingredient has vasoconstrictor properties and thus causes a reduction in swelling of the mucous membrane. Nasivin preservative-free products can be used for the following conditions: - common cold (acute rhinitis), - allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis), - episodic hay fever (vasomotor rhinitis), - to facilitate the discharge of secretions in the event of inflammation of the nose and/or sinuses, - otitis media and otitis media associated with a cold, - diagnostic reduction of mucosal swelling during medical examinations. Treatment with Nasivin Classic preservative-free 0.5 mg/ml nasal spray solution reduces the duration of the common cold from an average of 6 days to 4 days compared to physiological saline. 2.
