Bepanthen Plus cream is a disinfectant and wound healing cream.
Bepanthen Plus cream prevents the wound from drying out, relieves pain with its cooling effect, promotes the healing of superficial skin injuries and fights infections.
Bepanthen Plus cream contains dexpanthenol and chlorhexidine active ingredients. Dexpanthenol is rapidly converted into a vitamin called pantothenic acid in the skin cells, which stimulates the formation of new tissue and increases the durability of scar tissue. Chlorhexidine is a disinfectant that is effective against bacteria that multiply in the wound - which are otherwise present everywhere on the skin - making it suitable for preventing or combating infection.
Its use is recommended for:
§ Various skin injuries, wounds prone to infection, e.g. abrasion, cut, scratch, crack, minor burn, diaper rash, dermatitis.
§ Treatment of chronic wounds, leg ulcers (ulcus cruris), pressure sores (decubitus).
§ Secondary infections of eczema and itchy, patchy skin lesions (neurodermatitis) caused by nervous system disorders.
§ Treatment of cracked nipples during breastfeeding.
§ For minor surgical procedures, treatment of injuries and small surgical wounds.
