Delikát is the first Hungarian seasoning. Its history began in Szeged in the autumn of 1970, where it was developed by the Szeged Paprika Processing Company. From the 1990s, the red colour became increasingly dominant, until it finally became one of the hallmarks of Delikát. The most memorable moment in the joint history of Delikát and Unilever was the launch of the "Cook a playground!" program in 2007. It connected mothers and grandmothers living far apart, who have been using the seasoning for more than 40 years, and novice housewives who are just getting a taste of the joys of cooking.
