Vegabond falafel patty mix – now in a gluten-free version!

Make one of the Middle East's most distinctive, pleasantly spicy dishes, falafel, which is based on chickpeas. You can serve it with hummus, pita, vegan garlic yoghurt, fresh salad and vegetables.

Preparation suggestion

1. Mix 200 g of the mixture with approx. 220 ml of water and leave to stand for 6-8 minutes, so that the grains can swell a little.
2. Then, with wet hands, form small balls or patties and fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
3. You can also bake the mixture mixed with water in the oven in a loaf tin or other baking tin without oil.
