Kalumba White is an exceptionally clean dry gin, its fresh, citrusy character is given by cubeb pepper and lemongrass, which is paired with a sophisticated spiciness. It is made using more than 20 medicinal and spice plants, such as orange peel, citrus myrtle, pink pepper, coriander, curacao peel and calumba root.

Serving suggestion

It is recommended to drink it on ice as a gin and tonic.

Producer information

Kalumba Madagascar Spiced Gin came from the well-known Zwack factory's Kecskemét distillery in mid-2018. It combines citrus freshness with complex spices, which flavours mature together for long months in oak barrels, on a bed of dried figs.

With its new, fresh flavour, it became popular almost immediately thanks to its sweet taste and unusual appearance. Kalumba drink got its name from the calumba root, which grows in the humid areas of East and South Africa. It is used as an ornamental plant and as a medicinal herb.

Its unique flavour is given not only by the calumba root, but also by the 17 types of spices, some of which are collected and selected by hand from the wild jungles of Madagascar and Africa.
