Usage
Due to its medium pectin content, thicker jam, jam can only be cooked with a longer cooking time, with the addition of other high-pectin fruits or gelling agent.
When making real pear brandy, the glass is pulled onto the branch, into which the fruit then grows. When it is ripe enough, it is removed with the fruit, the brandy is poured onto it and the glass is closed in this way.
