The traditional activity of Szeged Paprika Spice and Canning Factory Ltd. is the production and marketing of ground paprika. Nowadays, grinding takes place in one of the oldest mills, which is equipped with the most modern technology thanks to development and investments.
In 2010, the European Commission registered the Protected Designation of Origin for Szeged paprika. This means that every production and technological operation, from the seed to the ground paprika that reaches the final consumer, is carried out in the Szeged paprika-producing region, under controlled conditions.
