Completely GMO-free eggs, which come from hens whose feed does not contain any genetically modified ingredients. When producing this product, only GMO-free ingredients are mixed into the hens' feed. Furthermore, they do not contain any antibiotics, and no antibiotics are added to the hens' drinking water. Organic eggs are products from controlled organic farming, which comply with the European Union's regulations on organic egg production.
Producer information
Farm Tojás Kft. started operating in 1987 at its Bőny site, with broiler chicken fattening. They pay great attention to compliance with quality, hygiene, animal health and epidemic prevention regulations. In line with market demands, they have prioritised the development and expansion of animal-friendly - deep litter, free-range and organic - husbandry technologies at a high level and volume. Currently, more than half of their entire laying hen stock (350,000-400,000) is already producing in deep litter, within which the proportion of eggs produced in modern aviary systems is increasing.
