Borsodi Mester is a 5% alcohol content, pure malt brewed, premium lager beer, which was created by master brewer András Németh for the 45th anniversary of the Borsodi Brewery. The drink brewed from two types of malt and two types of hops, thanks to the combination of the raw materials and the traditional brewing process, provides a special taste experience for those who like pale beers.

Borsodi Brewery has been an indispensable part of the Hungarian beer culture for more than 50 years. The brewery started beer production in 1973 in the Bőcs brewhouse in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county. The original brewery now operates as a visitor center, where beer lovers can admire the former technologies and equipment, get acquainted with Borsodi's almost half-century-old past, the processes of brewing, and can also participate in a memorable beer tasting. With its continuous technological innovations and the use of high-quality raw materials, the company keeps pace with current beer market trends and strives for continuous development. Borsodi introduced the first domestic non-alcoholic beer and was the first to use KEG barrels, and Borsodi also appeared on the Hungarian market for the first time with a canned product, and its name is associated with the first widely available flavored product family, Borsodi Friss. In recent times, it has also had numerous innovations, not only in its appearance, but also with its in-plant developments.
