Hoegaarden is a Belgian beer specialty, in which the exceptional harmony of fruity and bitter aromas can be discovered. Its magical taste is given by the dried orange peel (curaçao), the coriander and a third secret spice, and its opaque appearance is due to the cooking according to the original recipe.

The Hoegaarden monks first discovered the unique recipe for wheat beer around 1445. Brewing Hoegaarden is not a simple matter. Respecting the unique brewing process and carefully mixing the finest, natural ingredients is the only way to obtain the interesting character and surprisingly refreshing taste. The beer is double-fermented, but not filtered, which is why it has a cloudy appearance and a smooth texture.
