Goat cream cheese balls with chives
Made from pasteurized goat's milk and pasteurized cow's milk.
The cream cheese balls, which are made exclusively by hand, are rolled in chives by the manufacturer and sold in a jar with a clasp, topped up with sunflower oil.
They are evenly bone white in colour, with a slightly sour taste, their texture melts easily in the mouth, their smell is characteristic, their taste is pleasantly aromatic and salty.
The cream cheese is a very tasty ingredient for cold and warm sandwiches, cheese and cold platters, but it can also be consumed as a separate dish. It is also a great addition to salads. The remaining green herb oil can also be used on its own. It is also excellent for further processing in the kitchen.
Vegetarian sandwich recipe for 2 people:
Ingredients
- 1 box of Garabonciás goat cream cheese balls with chives
- 400 g focaccia
- 1 aubergine
- 1 lemon
- 2 sprigs of parsley
- 1 sprig of basil
- 50 g sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 avocado
- 50 g green pesto
- Salt
- Olive oil
Cut the aubergine in half lengthways, then score the cut half in a square grid. Put the parsley, basil and grated lemon zest in a mortar and crush with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. When you're done, spread it on the aubergine. Season with salt, then place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Set the oven to grill and grill the aubergines for 10 minutes. Finally, set aside to cool before placing in the sandwich.
Spread the focaccia with pesto, then pile on the Garabonciás goat cream cheese balls with chives. Then place the aubergine on top, and the sliced sun-dried tomatoes on the aubergine. Serve cut in half.
Tip:
- Be careful when scoring the aubergine not to cut through the skin.
- If you don't have a mortar, you can do it with a hand blender.
- You can also drizzle the aubergine with lemon juice.
