Product description

Martontej cottage cheese is obtained from skimmed milk using added rennet. The fat percentage of the milk used determines whether the end product is semi-fat or full-fat cottage cheese.

Martontej Kft.'s Holstein-Friesian cattle herd of nearly 1000 animals produces not only large quantities of milk, but also first-class milk, thanks to the mono-diet, GMO-free feeding. They produce and prepare 80% of the feed themselves from bulk feed and grain.
The manufacturer's special feature is that they keep everything in their own hands, from crop production to animal husbandry, from processing to getting the product to the stores, which gives them complete control and supervision. In our processing plant, they produce their 55 or so products made from excellent quality milk under a strict HACCP quality system. Martontej's basic principle in the production of its products is that they are free of artificial additives, colours and flavours, so that only carefully tested and inspected ingredients can be used in their products.
