Czider cider - Dabinett

We married the juicy dessert apples with a British-type, bittersweet cider apple, Dabinett. It's not really suitable for eating, but it gives the cider a special, characteristic taste, and due to its higher tannin content, it benefits from longer aging. The apples are harvested, crushed, and pressed in our apple orchard in Zala, and the resulting 100% apple juice ferments and then ages for a full year before bottling.

We do not sweeten it back, making it a true, extra dry cider, whose natural carbonation comes from traditional bottle aging. The fine lees at the bottom of the bottle are proof of this living, traditional process – and, of course, a guarantee that every sip is a genuine, artisanal experience.
