Sparkling Kadarka rosé 2024

A fruity, light summer rosé with clear Kadarka notes. They felt the raw material was too good to be released as a simple rosé, so for the first time, they made this summer wine with added carbon dioxide. Well chilled, it can be an excellent accompaniment or aperitif for summer grill dinners.

Producer information

They are proud to preserve tradition in viticulture – as well as in winemaking – in one of the world's best wine regions, as a way of life. Each of their bottles, in addition to the winemaker's style and the winery's unique flavour profile, also showcases the fruitiness, spiciness, and elegance characteristic of the Szekszárd wine region. Their grape selection prominently features the two most important grapes of the wine region, Kadarka and Kékfrankos, as well as the Syrah grape variety, from which the well-known and popular Deviant is made. Among international varieties, they work with the four most well-known in Hungary: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and the aforementioned Syrah. Additionally, Zweigelt, and among white varieties, Olaszrizling and Chardonnay form the basis of their wines. Almost every variety also appears as a standalone wine, and depending on the vintage, they also produce cuvées.
