The Kistermelői Red Onion Pork Crackling Spread is one of the finest and most homely representatives of traditional Hungarian flavours. It is made exclusively from carefully selected, fresh ingredients, with the attention of a small producer, so that every bite reflects the warm atmosphere of homemade, rural kitchens.

Crispy, succulent pork crackling is finely ground into the spread, accompanied by sweetly sautéed red onion. This combination gives the spread a rich, full flavour and a slightly caramelised aroma, making it simultaneously hearty, distinctive, and yet harmoniously smooth. Producer Information

I am Dávid Maszlik, and I live and farm with my partner Kinga Balogh in the village of Szente, Nógrád county, as a family farmer. I have been involved in agriculture since childhood; one could almost say I absorbed it with my mother's milk. I have been farming as a way of life since 2014 (arable crop production), and I started animal husbandry in 2015.

In 2019, we built a new pig farm with the best available technology, thereby eliminating extensive animal husbandry.

In December 2022, we purchased a part of the former "TSZ" (Agricultural Cooperative) farm in Kétbodony, where by November 2023, we established our new and, not least, more efficient meat processing plant.
