Saitaku Panko Breadcrumbs

Panko is nothing more than Japanese breadcrumbs. We might think that this is a curiosity, a special Japanese dish, but this is not the case. Panko is nothing more than large-grained breadcrumbs made from bread, which can be used for many things, but the best thing is to put it on breaded meat - instead of breadcrumbs.

There are two types of panko in Japanese cuisine, white and "brown". The white version contains only the "inside" of the bread, in large pieces, while the other also contains the crust and is usually made from wholemeal bread - this is even rarer in Hungary.
