Soproni Óvatos Duhaj APA quality pale lager 5.5%

APA (American Pale Ale) marked the beginning of the craft beer revolution in America. They put an end to the dominance of lager beers when, in 1975, the first brew was made for the 200th anniversary of the War of Independence, based on a British model. The fruity, citrusy aroma of APA became extremely popular. It spread throughout the country in the eighties, and today we distinguish 18 varieties of it in the world.

The Soproni Brewery was founded in 1985. In 1902, the products of the Soproni Brewery were put on the market in Budapest. These years were about the firsts.

In addition to the special Soproni 1895, this is when Soproni's first non-alcoholic beer (Soproni Szűz) and brown beer (Soproni Fekete Démon) appeared, as well as the first flavoured (Soproni Citrom and Soproni Narancs) and the first non-alcoholic flavoured (Soproni Zéró Narancs and Zéró Grapefruit) Soproni.
