Holistic cultivation concept: TEEKANNE's agricultural engineers assist selected producers in planning their growing areas, selecting the best cuttings, and optimally processing the harvested tea leaves. Further cultivation operations and the harvest are checked on-site by TEEKANNE staff. The company places great emphasis on a holistic production principle that considers the needs of people, nature, and the environment equally. Special soil tests allow experts to make recommendations, e.g., for fertilisation. Plant protection products are only used when necessary and contain only active ingredients approved by the EU. The processing of harvested leaves, including wilting, rolling, fermentation, drying, and storage, is carried out according to rules and processes defined by TEEKANNE. TEEKANNE conducts regular checks to ensure compliance with strict environmental and hygiene regulations.
