What's in the kit:
- 300 g sous-vide chicken breast (with cooking juices)
- 200 g basmati rice
- 100 g celery
- 100 g teriyaki sauce
- 40 g corn
- 20 g spring onion
- 30 g garlic-ginger paste
- 5 g sesame seeds
What's not in the kit. Use from your own pantry.
- 50 ml oil
- a pinch of salt to taste
- paper towels
Preparation before cooking
- Roughly chop the spring onion.
- Thinly slice the celery.
- Remove the meat from the bag and pat dry.
Cooking the rice
- Pour 1.5 l of water into the saucepan, add the 10 g of salt and bring to a boil.
- Add the bags containing the rice and cook for 15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and drain the rice.
Cooking the meat
- Pour half of the oil into the medium frying pan and heat to a high temperature.
- Add the chicken breast and fry for 1 minute on each side.
- Remove the meat and set aside on a plate.
Making the sauce
- Add the spring onion to the pan with the meat juices and fry for 30 seconds.
- Reduce the heat to medium, add the garlic-ginger paste, the teriyaki sauce and cook the mixture for 1 minute.
- Add the meat to the sauce and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the corn, turn off the heat and let stand for 2 minutes.
Making the celery rice
- Heat the remaining oil in the large frying pan to a high temperature.
- Add the celery and fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the cooked rice, mix with the celery and fry for 1 minute
- Finally, add the sesame seeds and mix with the rice.
