CooKit Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice

Required tools:

• a medium saucepan
• a medium pot
• wooden spoon

What's in the kit:

• 400 g Indian tikka masala sauce
• 200 g tikka chicken (roasted, marinated chicken thigh fillet)
• 200 g basmati rice
• 5 g coriander sauce

What's not in the kit. Use from your own pantry.

• 10 g salt for the rice
• a pinch of salt

Preparation before cooking

• Unpack the ingredients.
• Remove the meat from the bag and cut into pieces.

Cooking the rice

• Pour 1.5 l of water into the pot, add 10 g of salt, and bring to a boil.
• Put in the bags containing the rice and cook for 15 minutes.
• Turn off the stove and drain the rice.

Cooking the meat sauce

• Put the sauce together with the pieces of meat in the pan.
• Bring to a boil.
• Heat for 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
• Season with salt to taste.

Serving option 1

• Serve the rice and the sauce in separate bowls.
• Drizzle the coriander sauce over the meat sauce.

Serving option 2

• You can also serve on a plate.
• Drizzle the coriander sauce over the meat sauce.
