CooKit Teriyaki Udon Noodles with Chicken, Sautéed Vegetables and Sesame

Required tools:

• a large pan or wok
• a medium saucepan
• strainer
• cutting board
• knife
• wooden spoon

What's in the kit:

• 200 g sous vide chicken, with roasting juices
• 150 g udon noodles
• 150 g teriyaki sauce
• 100 g bell pepper
• 100 g carrot
• 50 g leek
• 15 g sesame oil
• 5 g black sesame seeds

What's not in the kit. Use from your own pantry.

• a pinch of salt to taste

Preparation before cooking

• Cut the leek and carrot into strips.
• Cut the bell pepper into small pieces.
• Unpack the meat and cut into strips.
• Pour the roasting juices into a bowl.

Cooking the noodles

• Put 0.5 liters of water in the saucepan and bring to a boil.
• Put the noodles in and stir.
• Bring to a boil, then cook for 6 minutes from the boiling point.
• Then drain and let it drip off.

Cooking the meat and vegetables

• Heat the sesame oil in the pan to a high temperature.
• Add the bell pepper, leek and carrot and fry for 30 seconds.
• Add the meat and fry for 1 minute.
• Reduce the heat to moderate.
• Add the teriyaki sauce, stir and bring to a boil.
• Add the noodles, mix thoroughly and heat on low for 2 minutes.
• Season with salt to taste.

Serving

• Sprinkle the dish with sesame seeds.

He won a gold medal and became the absolute winner at the 2018 World Cup in Singapore.
