This preparation made from Dordogne strawberries is made in Paris, exclusively from French ingredients, cooked in copper basins. The gourmet preparation contains more fruit and less sugar than a traditional recipe.

Producer information

It was only 100 years ago, in 1923, that the new building of the future Grande Epicerie de Paris was inaugurated. Initially, the grocery counter offered teas, cocoa powder and chocolate, then gradually opened up to fresh produce from 1933. A real revolution at the time, this was the first time that a grocery counter had been integrated into a department store. From the outset, thematic exhibitions were presented to highlight foreign gastronomy, particularly Italian and British.
