Cottage cheese is a product made from pasteurized, homogenized milk with a set fat content, by acidification with the addition of butter culture and then heating. It is packaged in laminated foil and a PE tub. The product can be consumed directly, without processing, without restriction. It triggers allergic reactions in consumers who are sensitive to milk sugar and milk protein. Requires refrigeration!

Producer information

Our Jásztej brand is a dairy product family known mainly in the Jászság region. This is best demonstrated by the fact that the central element of the brand's logo is the Jász horn, which is now kept in Jászberény under the name "Lehel's horn". The product family includes boxed milk, fermented products, sour cream, kefir, yogurt, butters and cottage cheese. Look for the Jásztej products with the renewed design in stores from June 2022.
