Remia is a dynamic family business, producing a wide range of sauces, margarines, and fats in Den Dolder, the Netherlands. The company was founded by Arie de Rooij in 1925 when he started mixing margarines in his shed at his home in Amersfoort. Remia's margarine was successful, and the company grew continuously. The factory then moved to Den Dolder, and in 1960, Remia expanded its activities with sauce production. By the end of the 1960s, Remia's product range had grown into a complete selection of various products, such as margarine, frying fat, french fry sauce, and salad dressing.

More than 95 years after Remia's establishment, the company has become one of the most important and innovative sauce and margarine producers in the Netherlands. By continuously meeting changing consumer needs and introducing innovative products, Remia has always been able to achieve growth in the market.
