Producer information

Based on traditions and the quality expectations of the age, they would like to produce wines that express the uniqueness of their terroirs. They pay special attention to the traditional varieties of their wine region, such as Italian Riesling, Hárslevelű, Furmint, Kadarka and Kékfrankos. Their goal is to get to know their terroirs and to perfect their viticulture year by year, as well as to refine and adapt the steps of wine production to the different varieties. And so they try to understand the essence of their earthly mission.

Basically, they set out to produce two Eger wines of protected origin, which they produce in several categories - classicus, superior, grand superior. They focus on Egri Csillag for white wines and Egri Bikavér for red wines. Their white wines are produced partly by traditional barrel fermentation and aging, and partly by fermentation in tanks. Barrel aging is 6-10 months.

The red wines are fermented on the skins primarily in open vats with manual punching down and circulation, but they also use wooden vats and steel tanks, where maceration takes place with circulation. The red wines are aged in barrels for 12-30 months.
